About QTools
QTools is a small, independent collection of free online calculators and converters. No sign-up, no paywall, and no data collection — every tool runs entirely inside your browser.
Why this site exists
Most simple calculators online are buried under pop-ups, forced registrations, and pages of filler text before you reach the one number you came for. QTools was built on the opposite principle: the tool goes at the top, the explanation goes underneath, and you get your answer in a couple of seconds.
How the tools work
Every calculator on this site is written in plain JavaScript that runs on your device. Nothing you type — a script, a caption, a loan amount — is uploaded, logged, or stored anywhere. Close the tab and it’s gone. That’s also why the tools work fine on a slow connection.
Who builds it
QTools is run by a single independent creator who works in online content and kept needing these calculations day to day. Each tool starts as something built for personal use, then gets cleaned up and published here. If a tool exists on this site, it’s because it was genuinely needed first.
Accuracy and limitations
The calculators are built carefully and tested against known values, but they produce estimates, not professional advice. Earnings calculators depend on rates that vary by country, niche, and season. Loan calculators use standard formulas and won’t include every fee a lender charges. Use the results as a starting point, and consult a qualified professional before any decision that carries real financial consequences.
How the site is funded
QTools is free to use and always will be. Running costs are covered by advertising and, on some pages, affiliate links to products actually used and recommended. Affiliate links are clearly labelled on the pages where they appear, and they never cost you anything extra. Recommendations are not for sale.
